World Refugee Day is an annual opportunity to remember that the plight of refugees has affected most nations at some point in history, and to acknowledge the ongoing courage, spirit and civic contribution of refugees today.

Showcasing a cross-section of traditional arts including spoken word, music and dance performances, World Refugee Day is an inclusive community event which not only commemorates the bravery and hardship faced by those with refugee backgrounds, but also celebrates the wide array of cultures and diversity of people living in Brisbane.
