It might sound like an excerpt from a Venice-centric travel blog, but you don’t have to travel abroad to have an experience like this. Coming to a location a little closer than the city of canals is Italian kitchen Ciao Papi, the first in a series of pop-up restaurants to grace the banks of the Brisbane River at Howard Smith Wharves restaurant ARC Dining. Headed by ARC’s award-winning chef Alanna Sapwell, Ciao Papi’s authentic Italian experience will deliver a top-notch take on Italian comfort food. Expect to indulge in Italian favourites like beef ragu, crab ravioli, vegetable lasagna and antipasti plates, bolstered by a sublime selection of Italian wines.
Ciao Papi will inhabit the deck of ARC Dining and Wine Bar, situated at the New Farm-end of the Howard Smith Wharves. The pop-up will be open for walk-ins from Wednesday to Saturday, 12:00 pm to 11:20 pm, and Sunday 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm for a limited time.
