Craft Cartel Liquor launches beer subscription service

An empty beer fridge is a disturbing sight, but now you can rest easy knowing a new pack of hand-selected hops will be heading your way without having to do a thing. The beer brain behind Sydney’s legendary Craft Cartel Liquor store is now sending his picks around the nation, with the launch of an online craft beer subscription service.

Beer that gets delivered to our front door is something we can get behind. Ben Malouf, journalist, host of 2GB’s Food & Wine Show and self-confessed beer nerd is now making that dream a reality, with Craft Cartel Liquor giving beer lovers the opportunity to taste a selection of seasonal and limited-edition releases, lesser-known beers, crowd-pleasing favourites and international creations.

After opening the specialty store in 1998, Ben has since extended the love online to quell thirsts across the country. Craft Cartel Liquor now offers more than 700 curated craft beers – many of which are one-off specials – from both small-scale boutique and large breweries, including Brisbane’s own Slipstream Brewing and Green Beacon Brewing. The recent launch of the Craft Beer Box gives drinkers unprecedented access to limited, boutique and rare brews. Customers can choose to receive eight or 16 beers per month or quarter, and if you sign up before March 31 you can score your first case for the special price of just $1. T&Cs apply, head online for more details.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
