Smoked fare is having a resurgence in the culinary scene as of late and for good reason – smoked bites pack a sensational flavour punch! Not all of us are so lucky to have a smoker at home (if you do, haven't you done well ) but do not worry friends, as that's where Toowoomba-based business Darling Fresh Smoke Haus comes in. Boasting a bevy of smoked meats and plant-based deliciousness, these vacuum-sealed packets are ready to go in mere minutes.

Whether you’re a smoker novice or a seasoned veteran of flame-licked fare, enjoying quality smoked foods shouldn’t have to take time or gear to enjoy. Darling Fresh Smoke Haus – a new local start-up – is making smoked morsels easier to enjoy. The business kicked off operations in Toowoomba in May, with its output being 100-percent natural beechwood-smoked foods that are pre-cooked and ready to eat in minutes. All you have to do to make these bad boys is pop them in the microwave for a couple of minutes or cook them on the stove top. Plus, the range is 100-percent natural with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

The range includes goodies that will make smoked-meat lovers salivate on site – we’re talking pulled pork (the perfect addition to Tuesday night tacos), pulled chicken, beef brisket and barbecue sauce-smothered pork belly bites. Our plant-based mates aren’t left out with vegan eats like Fable smoked whole mushrooms rubbed in barbecue sauce and pulled shiitake mushroom bites. To shop Darling Fresh Smoke Haus’ tastebud-tempting range of smoked treats, have a gander here. If you’re eager to try before you buy, Darling Fresh Smoke Haus will be slinging samples of its smoked goodies at Bardon Shed from 1:30 pm this Sunday December 19.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
