Look, we think a snap three-day lockdown is a great excuse to eat one’s feelings. We also think it’s a great opportunity to support your local eateries by ordering takeaway. From 5:00 pm Monday March 29 until midnight Wednesday March 31, two of Brisbane’s most popular dinner dispatch services will be dropping its delivery fee, offering a tasty incentive for diners and a much-needed boost for the Brisbane dining scene. Both Deliveroo and DoorDash will be covering the cost of delivery over the next few days, with the deal covering thousands of restaurants that use the service across Brisbane.
Those of you cooped up at home will be able to browse through Deliveroo’s database, which boasts more than 1000 eateries including Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers, Gelato Messina, Corbett & Claude, Fritzenberger and Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack, while DoorDash’s roster (which totals more than 700 Brisbane locales) features Ramen Danbo, Yavanna, Betty’s Burgers, Cheeky Poké Bar, PappaRich and more. If you’re looking to avoid the grocery rush but are running dangerously low on loo roll, you can also score necessities without having to brave the crowds via Deliveroo and DoorDash’s convenience options.
