Stock your pantry with a three-hatted range of condiments from esq. shop

If you’ve ever dined at Esquire or its smaller sibling esq. and lamented that you couldn’t take home a bottle of the venue’s famed passata, you might want to sit down while reading this. The food institution has just released its very own range of condiments, turning items found on the acclaimed menu into take-home products that can kick your home cooking up a notch.

After patrons began clamouring with increasing frequency for Esquire to start selling its popular wild buffalo jerky, executive chef Ryan Squires finally decided to give the people what they want, and then some. After a bit of tinkering in the kitchen with second-in-command Brenden Gradidge, the duo has delivered esq. shop to the world – a range of produce-based, small-batch goods made in esquire’s kitchens, packaged on site and sold to anyone that has been dying to get their hands on the venue’s gourmet small goods. The recipes and the flavours are the same, giving patrons the chance to enjoy the esquire experience in their own home.

All products at esq. shop are preservative and additive free, meaning that they are intended to be used quickly instead of being left on the shelf for extended periods of time. The range includes gourmet bacon, kimchi, passata, ketchup, burger pickles, fermented chilli sauce, pickled ginger and, of course, the wild buffalo jerky. The kitchen will be looking to add new products over the coming months, experimenting with products such as pickled onions, meat-free Bolognese sauce, satay sauce and more. Get your hands on esq. shop goods at esquire itself, or at spots such as New Farm Deli, Sourced Grocer and Fruity Capers & Deli in Toowong.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
