It’s only natural – have a sip of the new Natural Ale at Felons Brewing Co.

Although the cooler temperatures are approaching, we’re not any less inclined to crack a cold one when the feeling strikes. The crafty cats at Felons Brewing Co. are capping off a killer summer season with a tasty newcomer for its core range. The Natural Ale will be available on tap and in cans from today, Thursday April 18, and we can’t wait to sample.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that the team at Howard Smith Wharves’ riverside brewery Felons Brewing Co. might be keen on taking a break. They’ve been working non-stop since before the brewery’s opening last November, after all. That’s clearly not the case, as this week the hopping-mad froth fanatics are launching a brand-new addition to its core range of beers. The Natural Ale is a tropical fruit-driven drop that caused a stir when it was first released as a limited-edition Boxing Day special. When all 2500 litres of the brew was eagerly consumed, the brewing team realised they had something better than a one-off on their hands.

The Felons Brewing Co. Natural Ale is a refreshing drop, one that has been brewed with all-natural ingredients, is unfiltered, unpasteurised and has no added preservatives. The Felons team have sought to capture Brisbane’s summer in a can, with notes of mango and passionfruit filtering through, buoyed by the rich flavour of local malt and wheat. Natural Ale will be a regular fixture on tap, but those of you enamoured with the taste can also purchase the beer in cans to enjoy at home.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
