Sip sophisticated (non-boozy) botanical infusions from Freemahon

Whether you're one of the increasing number of Australians who are booze-free by choice or you're just looking for an alcohol-free alternative that doesn't feel like a kids drink, rip open a sachet of Freemahon, a premium non-alcoholic botanical compound infusion.

After experiencing a horrific motor vehicle accident that left Melbourne’s Bridget Mahon with an acquired brain injury, she was told that as a result, she was no longer able to enjoy a glass (or even a sip) of alcohol. Never one to shy away from a champagne at a party, she was left feeling on the outer in social situations and subsequently began her quest to find a suitable non-alcoholic beverage that didn’t taste like sugary cordial or come pre-mixed, thus limiting her ability to take it into licensed venues without gaining the ire of security guards. Freemahon is her silver lining. Officially launching to the world on September 1, the first batch sold-out almost instantly, proving to Bridget that it wasn’t just her that sought the experience of a fancy booze-free beverage.

Made from all-natural ingredients and with no added sugar, Freemahon is a natural botanical infusion packed in a super convenient foil pouch so you can confidently take it out and about and add it to soda water wherever and whenever you like. Handy tip, the pouch also doubles as a vessel, just don’t forget the reusable straw. In terms of the flavour profile, the specific blend of botanicals is on the down low however it does offer key notes of hand-harvested cardamom to pack a serious punch. Side note, if you were so inclined, Freemahon also works splendidly as a mixer with your choice of tipple. There are plans to introduce a range of colourful combinations but for now it’s just the original Compound 1. The next batch is due for release at midday on Sunday September 22 from Freemahon. Cheers to a hangover free summer!
