Let’s get one thing straight – the vegan burger craze is not a fad, it’s here to stay. Meat alternative patties are becoming part of the norm, and now one of Brisbane’s biggest proponents of bun-bracketed goodness is joining the movement. Fritzenberger is debuting its Fritzen Vegan range this week, unveiling three menu items available now across both locations and on UberEATS. The range includes the Fritzenvegan Burger, vegan loaded frites and the vegan Fritzen shake, ensuring all plant-based eaters can satiate their cravings for something savoury or sweet.
Fritzenberger is looking to prove the flavour sceptics wrong with its vegan range, dishing up tastes comparable to that of its delicious meaty options. The burger comes with a special Fritzenvegan patty, topped with vegan cheddar, hydroponic lettuce, organic tomato, Spanish onion and house-made vegan Fritzensauce. The loaded frites come doused with vegan mozzarella cheese sauce, house-made Fritzen jam, green onions and vegan Fritzensauce, while the shake is made using coconut sorbet, whipped and blended with Vienna malt syrup, banana, almond milk and vanilla bean.
You can sample the plant-based tastes now at Fritzenberger’s two locations in Petrie Terrace and Wilston.
