Perk up your picnic with a gourmet charcuterie box from Gerard’s Bar

Putting together the perfect hamper is a not-so-secret joy of ours, but if we were to give up the sacred duty to another then the team at Gerard’s Bar would be our pick. When we heard that Gerard’s Bar had released some takeaway charcuterie boxes for us all to enjoy we practically collapsed in excitement. Want to impress your pals next time you gather for a picnic? These bad boys will do the trick.

People, charcuterie is a big deal. Meat and cheese platters would absolutely rank highly in our list of favourite meals, so believe us when we say that this piece of news has us positively tickled. That’s right – Gerard’s Bar, one of the best charcuterie havens in town, is taking the hamper game by storm. The bar has launched a range of gourmet charcuterie boxes, perfect for jump-starting any platter or picnic hamper with a range of mouth-watering morsels.

Gerard’s Bar has put together four boxes of ecstasy-inducing goodness. Let’s start with the biggest box – The High Roller Box is filled with three of the best kinds of salumi available in Australia, one cheese variety, guindillas, house pickles and bread. The Little Italy box pairs three kinds of Italian salumi with cheese and roasted pear, while the Spanish Quarter box matches Spanish-style salumi with cheese and roasted quince. Finally, the Cheese Dreams box serves up one fresh, blue, aged and funky cheese with accompaniments and bread. If you’ve got the hots for what’s in the box, then get in touch with the folks at Gerard’s Bar. Your charcuterie game will never be the same.
