Ginger’s Kitchen is the cookie subscription service set to bring fresh-baked perfection to your door

No matter what genre of treats your particular sweet tooth craves, it is a universally acknowledged truth that freshly baked cookies are amongst the God tier. An oozing chocolate chip (or perfectly plump raisin if you swing that way), chewy middle and slightly crisp outside are all of the elements required for total mouth bliss. If you’re a total sucker for the dopamine hit that can only come from a perfectly crafted disc of doughy goodness, we’re going to let you in on a secret – there’s a Brisbane-based cookie subscription that will soon be sending monthly parcels of baked goods direct to your destination.

Folks, Ginger’s Kitchen is the real deal when it comes to cookies. The operation is the brainchild of Ginger Mendoza, a chef-turned-baker who has channeled her years of professional cooking experience into a small-batch bakehouse empire. Growing up around the flavours and aromas of her grandmother’s cooking in Manila, Ginger cultivated a love of culinary excellence and local produce combined to create food straight from the heart. She has studied classical French cuisine and patisserie at France’s own Institut Paul Bocuse, as well as training in Michelin-starred restaurants around Europe. The Ginger’s Kitchen story is one rooted in respect for her ingredients, a creative outlet and a means of expressing nostalgic flavours in a modern way.

The Ginger’s Kitchen repertoire currently boasts three classic flavours made with quality local ingredients – you’ve got the OG chocolate chip stuffed with milk and dark-Belgian chocolate, the sweet-and-salty triple-chocolate and sea salt, plus the old-school oatmeal raisin bursting with local fruit and a touch of cinnamon. Ginger’s subscription service is perfect for unabashed cookie fiends. Folks can choose from a mixed pack of signature flavours and a monthly limited-edition creation, or go all in and nab a whole box filled with the month’s special. New flavours will drop on the first of each month with subscriptions going out freshly baked on the day – it’s a guaranteed dose of happiness!

Is your mouth watering yet? Thought so! You can get your hot little hands on Ginger’s Kitchen goodies at Brisbane City Markets, Jan Powers Farmers Markets (both New Farm and Manly) and the Milton Markets. Be sure to check out the website to find out when online orders open.
