Enjoy a refreshing caffeine hit courtesy of Merlo’s Black Bear Cold Press & Milk

Although summer is behind us, there are still plenty of reasons to enjoy a cold-press coffee. Brisbane coffee roaster Merlo has just unveiled its new cold-press brew, which is being distributed throughout South-East Queensland.

The Merlo coffee house has a long and storied history of serving top-notch brew to Queenslanders. Since introducing espresso machines to Queensland cafes in the 1950s, Merlo has become a recognisable name to java junkies. Not being a company to rest on its laurels, Merlo has unveiled the latest addition to its product range – Black Bear Cold Press & Milk.

Released on March 25, Black Bear Cold Press & Milk is now being sold at Merlo’s six coffee-roasting houses (Torrefaziones) and five BarMerlos throughout Brisbane City. Containing 100% Arabica coffee beans that have been fully immersed for 24 hours, the blend boasts a smooth and sweet taste with less bitterness and acid than regular espresso. If you are conscious about your caffeine consumption, be aware that each bottle contains approximately two shots of coffee. To find your nearest Merlo outlet, have a look at the store locator on the Merlo website.
