What do you get when you combine one of the Yarra Valley’s finest vineyards with one of the country’s most beloved fashion labels? A damn fine drop, that’s for sure. Handpicked Wines has linked up with Romance Was Born to collab on a fashionable glass filler for its spring and summer collection, drawing inspiration from the label’s latest range Electric Orchid.

As summer rapidly approaches, we are all scrambling to put together our warm weather wardrobe. While we search high and low for the right shirt, skirt, short and loafers, we’re missing the most crucial accessory for any barbecue, picnic or outdoor gathering – a drink. Yep, that’s right – your choice of beverage should also be stylish, so instead of grasping the cask wine or cheap sixer of tinnies, we’ve got a suggestion that will immediately up your outfit in the style stakes. Romance Was Born has connected with Handpicked Wines to work on a fashionable rosé – undoubtedly the most chic drop around.

This rosé features an eye-catching label created by Romance Was Born designers Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales, featuring art by Archibald-winning artist Del Kathryn Barton. The label is inspired by Romance Was Born’s latest collection Electric Orchid, and pairs vibrant colour and gold lettering with the deep pink of the rosé. Handpicked Wines is featuring this rosé in its Spring Summer Collection for 2018, which is available now online.
