Ruby love – where to get the limited edition pink gelato raising money for breast cancer research

Some things in life are just guaranteed to make you feel good – whether it’s the first lick of an icy treat on a hot summer’s day, trying a brand-new food phenomenon or helping out people in need, certain activities have a tendency to get the serotonin flowing. These three examples aren’t totally arbitrary (sorry to pull a sneaky on you) – what if we told you there was a way to tick all of these mood-boosters off your list at the same time? With Gelatissimo’s limited edition Ruby Love flavour, this is entirely possible.

Ruby Love is the latest flavour to join the ranks of Gelatissimo’s Deluxe Range, but she’s far more than just a pretty face. The extra 50 cents that you pay for a scoop of this deliciousness goes directly to the McGrath Foundation and its McGrath Breast Care Nurses – these are the folks who provide invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support to families experiencing breast cancer all across Australia (free of charge).

Ruby Love isn’t just a quickly concocted flavour – loads of thought and attention have gone into making this gelato a standalone winner. The pastel-pink creation is made up of raspberry gelato infused with rosewater topped with meringues and a Ruby Chocolate swirl. You might remember Ruby Chocolate from when we first wrote about it last year – yep, it’s the mysterious fourth universal chocolate flavour! All of the ingredients have been carefully selected to retain the smoothness of the gelato in both texture and flavour – seedless raspberries, local traditionally made meringues and delicately petal-infused rosewater combine to create a totally dreamy scoop.

Ruby Love is now available at all Gelatissimo stores for a limited time – to track down your closest location, head to the website.
