Beat the heat with a thirst quencher from Thirsty Republic

If there is one thing that this week's warm weather has shown us, it's that a sparkling cold drink can heal the body, mind and spirit!

Not all of us love the heat that we have been experiencing of late, but Dominic Forman from Thirsty Republic thrives on it! Selling iced tea, sodas and fresh juices at Eat Street Markets each weekend, a hot day will see him satisfying the thirsty crowds many times over.

The carbonated tea flavours of the day rotate between mango strawberry, apple mint, peach passionfruit, raspberry hibiscus and pear honeysuckle. Using a beer dispensing system, Thirsty Republic is equipped to quench the thirst of parched market goers at a moment’s notice. For the kids, colourful and inventive sodas are on the menu with Smurf Bubblegum, Pink Flamingo, Purple Haze and Creaming Soda the flavours of choice. The health conscious are never forgotten, with icy fresh juices resembling an Hawaiian pina colada in the flavours of mango, pineapple and coconut, orange and watermelon, and raspberry and lime. If that’s not quite the lift you need, then a coconut ice-cream might hit the spot.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
