Hooray! UberEATS has launched in Brisbane!

Here at The Weekend Edition, we're all about getting out and sampling the delicious dishes that Brisbane's stellar eateries have to offer. However, we're not ashamed to admit that sometimes all we want to do is sit at home, sans pants, binge watch Narcos on Netflix and chow down on the couch. Thankfully for us, UberEATS has finally launched in Brisbane, and is bringing some pretty rad eats to the comfort of your own home.

If you haven’t already heard about UberEATS, allow us to give you a quick run down. It’s from the heroes behind ride-sharing service Uber, and is a new food delivery platform that allows users to order food from their favourite local restaurants and have it delivered directly to their door by an Uber courier. Got it?

But this isn’t just your standard local pizza joint and Indian restaurant delivery. UberEATS is launching with more than 80 of Brisbane’s most-loved restaurants, ready and waiting to bring you your favourite dishes. You’ll find the likes of Ben’s Burgers, Comuna Cantina, Pizzeria ViolettaThe Flying Cock and Pineapple Express, as well as hatted restaurants such as esq. and Saké for something a little fancier. If you’ve got hard sweet cravings, tap away for Doughnut Time, Mister Fitz’s Finest Ice Cream, New Farm Confectionery and many more.

So how do you get the food to your door (and mouth) ASAP? Just download the UberEATS app. Delivery is available seven days a week from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm (and is free for a limited time!). The service is currently operating in Brisbane’s inner suburbs, with UberEATS stating its radius as ‘Albion to Auchenflower, Newmarket to Woolloongabba and everywhere in between’. We know what we’re doing for dinner …

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
