It may be winter, but Brisbane City’s dining scene is heating up with the reopening of riverside hangout Will & Flow. The venue has been given a complete refresh complete with a new deck area, outdoor kitchen and plush natural furnishings. These eye-catching updates are matched with a brand-new menu of eats, which encompasses woodfired pizzas, pides, baked gnocchi and grazing boards. Sweet tooths can even lap up a selection of decadent dessert cocktails – there’s the Winter Warmer (custard, Maker’s Mark, Mozart and Bailey’s), a Chocolate Hazelnut Martini (Frangelico, creme de cacao and vodka), the Lamingtini (Bailey’s, Frangelico, Coconut Monin, cream, and chocolate bitters) and the Pink Squirrel (creme de cacao, creme de almond, cream and cherries).
Those looking to ease themselves into the weekend a little early can do so with pizza and prosecco on Thursday nights at Will & Flow’s weekly Beats & Eats event. For just $20, you can enjoy any pizza or pide of your choice with a glass of prosecco. Mouth-watering pizza variations include mushroom and capsicum, tomato, basil and mozzarella, salt and vinegar potato with onion and buffalo mozzarella, and a garlic parmesan pide. Plus, you can treat your ears to DJ beats from 5:00–9:00 pm while taking in the picturesque panoramic views of the Brisbane River. If that doesn’t sound like the perfect kick off to the weekend, we don’t know what does.
