Amazon Australia’s distribution centre has been set up in Melbourne’s Dandenong South at the Pellicano M2 industrial park. This location was strategically chosen to give drivers and road freighters easy and smooth access to the South Gippsland Highway, the Monash Highway, and EastLink, ensuring the company could uphold its internationally high standards of speedy delivery. Details about the products offered up in today’s soft launch are still under wraps, but various news sources are claiming that as many as 500 retailers will be part of Amazon’s Australian marketplace offering from the launch.
