Opening its doors this week, EdwardsAndCo’s eighth Australian salon has found its home on Ada Lane, in the Calile Hotel’s retail and lifestyle precinct. The space, which has taken inspiration from the Calile Hotel’s Richards and Spence-designed aesthetic, is sleek and minimal in design, lined with eye-catching wall art and plenty of fresh greenery. The salon, which houses 40 chairs, has room to fit a team of more than 30 stylists at full capacity. Though whilst strict social distancing measures are still in place, EdwardsAndCo can host up to ten clients whose details must be kept on record for safety purposes. The salon also has a number of safety measures in place to ensure the health and safety of clients and staff including social distancing (at least 1.5 metres between each station), body temperature testing for both staff and clients, regular disinfecting and more.
