Craft the perfect summer cocktail with help from Kitchen Warehouse’s crackin’ collection of barware

Imagine this – Christmas festivities are in full swing, you're done with work until the new year and you're relaxing on the deck as the sun sets. What could make your afternoon even better? A cocktail, of course! To help you concoct a truly tantalising tipple, we've rounded up some top-notch cocktail recipes with help from the team at Kitchen Warehouse – which just so happens to boast some seriously chic barware.

This Christmas, homemade cocktail making is easy (and stylish) with help from Kitchen Warehouse’s barware range. Whether you’re looking to spruce up your abode with a fancy bar cart, get the party started with some essential bar tools or make sipping easy with some chic cocktail straws, the Kitchen Warehouse team has you sorted. Now, what to drink …

Aperol Spritz
We’re suckers for a good Aperol Spritz – it’s our go-to summer sip. The Italian aperitif has three ingredients – prosecco, Aperol and soda water – in a 3-2-1 ratio, making it nice and easy to whip up on a whim. If you want a bit more citrus, then squeeze in the juice of an orange wedge and make sure to add lots of ice. Then, pop in a straw (these pineapple paper boys are cute) and you’re good to go. We suggest sipping this one alongside a charcuterie board filled with cured meats and cheeses for the ultimate Italian summer experience.

Pink Gin Fizz
If you’re looking for a cocktail that’s refreshing but not too sweet, then a Pink Gin Fizz is well worth a taste test. With only three ingredients – pink gin, pink grapefruit cordial and tonic water – this cocktail is super simple to make. Firstly, fill your cocktail shaker with ice (this gold set will do the trick), then add the gin and cordial. Give it a good shake, and then strain into a margarita glass over a handful of ice. Then all you have to do is top up with tonic water as desired and voilà – it’s cocktail o’clock!

Margarita on the rocks
Like Jimmy Buffet, we love a good margarita. Keep your cocktail shaker out to make this margarita on the rocks, then grab tequila, Cointreau (or triple sec) and limes. Salt the rim of the glass and pour two shots of tequila, one shot of Cointreau and one shot of lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Finally, strain over a lowball glass with ice and then you’re good to wet your whistle with your sweet and sour concoction. You’re practically a mixologist now!
