First introduced to cardio lovers in New York City in 2014, Peloton has developed a huge following of loyalists who enjoy the benefits of its studio-style workouts that can be completed in the comfort of a home setting. Set to launch in Australia in the second half of 2021, the brand will introduce us to the OG Peloton Bike, the newer Peloton Bike+, and the Peloton App, which will give users access to at-home workouts that cover indoor cycling, running (outdoor and indoor), cardio, strength, yoga and more. The move to launch Peloton in Australia is the company’s first foray into the Asia Pacific region and, if successful, will follow with more of its product range.
Full disclosure, these bad boys aren’t exactly cheap. Available to purchase online, the Peloton Bike will set riders back $2,895 and the fancier Bike+ will cost $3,695. The all-access membership that gives members access to an expansive library of Peloton content and creates accounts for the entire household will be $59 per month – which, in the long run, works out to be cheaper than your average gym membership. If you want to spin until the sun comes up, ride on over to the Peloton website to register your interest and be the first to know when the bikes are set to arrive.
