If you are one of the millions of Australians who still have their yes vote sitting on their kitchen bench or in the bottom of their bag, you need to make your way to a postbox this weekend to make sure your vote counts. Just in case you need a little extra push, the heroes at Folktale have just launched a ten-day social media campaign that encourages millennials to have a digital postbox party.

The idea is to stop what you’re doing and make your way to a postbox, and create a short video showing you posting your completed Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey before 5:00 pm on Sunday October 29. The video needs to be uploaded on Facebook and/or Instagram, have tagged @postboxpartyAU and include the hashtag #PostYourYes. Once you do that, you’ll go in the draw to win two business class flights to Los Angeles, donated by Qantas. We know you didn’t really need that extra encouragement to vote yes, but hey, it doesn’t hurt! To find out more about the campaign, head to the Postbox Party Facebook page.

Just a reminder – the postal survey officially closes on Tuesday November 7, but the Australian Bureau of Statistics has asked that responses be sent by Sunday October 27 to ensure all votes are counted.
