Brisbane-based Rinseu brings global street style with a local flavour

When it comes to apparel, our country certainly isn’t lacking in the surf and skate department – our outdoor lifestyle means that a whole bunch of talented minds have tapped that market to keep us well dressed. Australia’s streetwear scene is still pretty niche – but someone new has arrived on the scene to give us a much-needed injection of style. Brisbane’s own Jahl Herapath has just launched Rinseu, a unisex label dripping with cool.

Influenced by the US streetwear scene, Rinseu is Jahl’s first foray into fashion.  The Brisbane-based creative has passions and ambitions in many areas, with this being one of many ideas to come to fruition. Rinseu is a unisex fashion and lifestyle label that draws upon its unique designs as a point of difference in the brave new world of Australian streetwear – it’s high-fashion principles made accessible and relevant.

Rinseu’s debut collection Ultraviolet Perfection puts itself forward as a hyperreal exploration of technology, internet culture and online personas, utilising graphic prints and clothing to convey the core message of ‘staying present’. Androgynous hoodies, sweatshirts, tees and tote bags are emblazoned with designs that highlight current tech trends – think AI, automation, Blockchain, mixed reality and all things online. Each release from the brand will be locally sourced, made in limited runs and small batches to ensure exclusivity and minimal waste.

Rinseu’s debut collection is available now – head to the online store to grab a piece.
