Camp among the vines at Sanctuary by Sirromet’s luxury winery experience

Forget roughing it – this winter we’re all about glamping. You’ll be tempted to ditch the erect-it-yourself tents and half inflated matresses once you get a glimpse of what Sirromet has on offer come June 1. Set amongst beautiful bushland, Sanctuary by Sirromet is a unique accommodation experience offering Queensland’s very first vineyard glamping experience.

Camping is a great way to take a hard-earned break and immerse one’s self in nature, but as nice as camping is, isn’t it nicer to be able to take a hot shower at the end of the day? Well, a new nature-based option is set to debut in a few short days at Sirromet Wines. Sanctuary by Sirromet is a collection of safari-style tents that blend luxe accommodation amenities with a stylish camping aesthetic, placing guests close to nature without sacrificing comfort. The tents are situated on a hillside in the heart of Sirromet’s Mount Cotton property, overlooking a tranquil lagoon on surrounded by paperbark trees and scribble gums.

Upon launch on Friday June 1, Sanctuary by Sirromet will boast 18 tents, a total that encompasses 15 tents for couples, two family-sized tents and one expansive pavillion for bridal suites. These 18 tents will comprise part of a total 55 sites that will be available upon project’s completion. Each tent is made from double-layered canvas, which is durable and weather resistant, harbouring an interior complete with cushy king beds, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, a well-stocked mini fridge, en-suite bathrooms, private balconies and an outdoor setting from which to soak in the surrounding natural splendour. Guests can wake up to a breakfast hamper chock-full of locally sourced goodies, including French butter croissants, strawberry yoghurt pots with granola, bagels with house-smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers, and Sirromet blended coffee and fresh juices or tuck in at Sirromet’s on-site eateries.
