If you’ve ever assembled a lacklustre cheese plate or are intimidated by the prospect of finding the perfect fascinator for racing season, perhaps it’s time you went back to school. No, we’re not telling you to don a uniform, pack a lunch and head back to the old stomping ground – the school we’re envisioning is a far cry from the claustrophobic classrooms of our youth. The School of Everything is a new-age education establishment that offers a more style-oriented syllabus. The concept, created by Jen Campbell Case and Belinda Smetioukh, is giving folks the chance to indulge in their creative whims and sign on for classes on an array of topics.
The School of Everything’s diverse range of classes include assembling a gorgeous grazing table, crafting and decorating Eater wreaths, creating and styling your own beachy waves, mastering the art of gift wrapping, concocting the most sublime aperitivo and selecting the best racing-season headwear. Each masterclass is led by accomplished stylists, hairdressers, makeup artists, event organisers, milliners and florists – so you know that the info you’re getting is coming from the best. All students receive a glass of bubbles on arrival and can nibble on a gourmet grazing platter, though The School of Everything is also BYO-friendly, so feel free to bring a bottle! Private masterclass events can also be booked for bridal and baby showers, girls’ lunches and team events. Head to The School of Everything website to check out the class itinerary and to book a spot!
