To step inside the stylish interior of W The Store by Robe is to stoke some serious summer vibes. Elegant displays layered with hats, sunglasses and swimwear hint at hot days spent lounging poolside, while racks of colourful kaftans, dresses and sarongs evoke images of sunset cocktails and champagne soirees. Perched on level 1 of North Quay hotel W Brisbane, the pop-up is the first store for local resort-wear label Robe. However, it’s not the first time the label has graced the retail space, having been stocked at former W Brisbane resident, Becker Minty. Following the lifestyle store’s closure several months ago, Robe founder Rebecca Kroon happened to be strolling past the empty space and claimed it for her growing label.

In addition to Robe’s chic collection of post-swim apparel, W The Store by Robe also houses a selection of quality local labels hand-picked by Rebecca, including Bask Eyewear, La Beach, Original Weekend, The Great State, Jade Swim, We Are Feel Good Inc, Lumira and Maria Farro. Hotel guests and Brisbane shoppers will find everything they need for a vacation or staycation, from fake tan to skin balm, and leather sandals to silk robes. The pop-up will operate for three months and is open Friday to Sunday or by appointment, with Rebecca herself available in-store between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm every Friday.
