Giddy up – a whole Wild West town is for sale in New Zealand for a cool $11 million

Look, we are all craving an escape right now and waiting for this dreamed-up Trans-Tasman bubble is like waiting for rain in a drought – all we can do is cross our fingers and toes. So, entering our lives with perfect timing is this advertisement for a gloriously OTT Wild West-themed town in New Zealand. The best part? It can all be yours for just $11-million dollarydoos. If you're keen to live in your own Westworld (without all of the killer cowboy robots, of course) then read on ...

Located in the heart of the North Island’s Central Plateau, Mellonsfolly Ranch is positioned on more than 900 acres of beautiful native bushland. The property not only features three houses that you can make yourself comfortable in, but the ranch is also home to New Zealand’s very-own Old West Town. Resembling an 1860’s Wyoming frontier town, the mini township boasts ten period-themed buildings including a saloon (hello fellow whisky swiggers), a courthouse that doubles as a cinema, a sheriff’s office and a billiards lounge.

Built in 2006, Old West Town (which currently operates as a boutique hotel) may look a bit rough around the edges, but it has all of the features of a luxury destination, with overnight accommodation for up to 22 straight shooters. Plus, the ranch also operates as a profitable manuka-honey business – how sweet is that?

If you’re eager to allow your cowboy yearnings to get ahead of your earnings, then head over here to have a longer look at the property. Go on, ride like the wind, Bullseye!
