After taking over the business in January 2014, Marisa and Paul set about turning the space into a community hub with an emphasis on quality service and simple, yet delicious food. As former customers of previous tenants, Care For My Tummy, Marisa and Paul knew the kind of cafe they’d want to frequent and set about putting their individual spin on the premises. Adorned with unique, second-hand furniture, Ananas Espresso feels like a living room more than a cafe – creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of space to move. The menu features a selection of recognisable favourites with all food (including the cakes and muffins) made in house using locally sourced ingredients.
