The leafy surrounds of Bardon make for a perfectly picturesque brunch destination, and Bardon Thyme is a cafe that makes the most of its lush suburban home. Officially opening on Morgan Terrace in November 2018, Bardon Thyme is the brainchild of Garry and Michael – partners in life and business, both endlessly passionate about delivering a terrific cafe experience. The duo have created Bardon Thyme with the locality and quality in mind, pairing with Campos Coffee to serve its premium beans alongside their own menu of delicious fare. The menu is constantly changing, utilising the best local organic produce of the moment, favouring goods that have been sustainably grown. In addition to the sit-down nosh, Bardon Thyme also whips up takeaway salads, quiches and tarts for the grab-and-go crowd. The menu is friendly for those with a gluten-intolerance, and Bardon Thyme is dog friendly with puppycinos being added to the menu very soon. A garden space at the venue’s rear will also be unveiled soon, one boasting its own herb garden that will feed into the kitchen.
