Cafetal Coffee Roasters is a small-batch roasting operation specialising in coffee sourced from Colombia. Housed in a warehouse space in the heart of East Brisbane, coffee hunters can stop by for an expertly brewed cup made from the roaster’s own Overend blend or one of several single origins. Cafetal’s menu includes milk, black, espresso, iced, V60 filter and cold-brew options, while non-coffee drinkers can sip on hot chocolate or chai from Grounded Pleasures. Folks who seek to expand their knowledge base are encouraged to come in for a chat, while personalised barista courses (we’re talking one or two students at a time) and cupping classes are also held on site.
