ED Cafe is a vibrant and youthful inner-city cafe from the minds behind esteemed East Brisbane eatery The Smug Fig. The joint serves up morsels from an all-day brunch selection that caters to the time poor and laid-back city slickers. Intriguing bites include dukkah and tahini crusted salmon, nourish bowls with mixed greens, lamb and goat’s cheese meatballs, lemon myrtle chicken burgers and haloumi stacks. A range of grab-and-go sandwiches and protein balls are available for those that can’t be away from their desk for too long, while coffee – the lifeblood of the inner city – comes from Espresso Di Manfredi. Tea, fresh smoothies, cold-pressed juices and iced drinks round out the offering, which is sure to cater to every taste.
