Owned and operated by locals Saxon and Rowena, Hedge Espresso has converted a former corner store premises into a lively and comfortable cafe that has fast become a popular meeting point for local residents, as well as serving as an example of independent, small business flair. Hedge Espresso specialises in light meals made fresh with produce sourced from providers in the Salisbury area. The menu is set to be ever evolving, featuring all-day breakfast and lunch items with new meals available each week ranging from slow cooked lamb shank sandwiches to tasting plates of locally made terrines and pâtés and their immensely popular bacon and egg roll. Saxon and Rowena hope that Hedge Espresso can be a catalyst for the evolution of a cool microcosm within Salisbury and they are already seeing positive results.
