The traffic and noise of Ann Street dissipates into oblivion as the door to Laruche closes. French for ‘the hive’, Laruche dishes up a blend of Art Nouvea-surreal design, plates of delicious fare and classic drinks. The venue spans two levels, drenched in an eclectic take on contemporary Belle Epoque with regal disproportionate furniture, blown-glass light fixtures and extravagant chandeliers. Diners are invited to feast on shared plates of epicurean delights, order a bespoke cocktail and relax into a plump sofa.
