Bulimba’s coffee selection received a boost of experience when Ministry of the Coffee Bean emerged onto the scene at the tail-end of 2016, making its mark with a blend of java smarts and personable service. Owner and head barista Rodney fell in love with the coffee industry after working with the widely acclaimed Dramanti Roasters. After working in a range of aspects of the business from barista to roaster to delivery, Rodney craved a spot of his own, soon settling upon Ministry of the Coffee Bean’s current location on Riding Road. Rodney is putting his expertise to the test, offering Bulimba locals some of the finest espresso available in the area. Using Dramanti beans, Ministry of the Coffee ensures each cup is as close to perfect as possible, ensuring temperature and grind consistency is the same each visit. The food menu is no slouch either, with chef Paige offering up her spin on classics, such as sweet potato rosti stacks, avocado on toast with housemade pesto and capsicum jam and specialty granola based off Rodney’s own recipe. A ministry is a place of knowledge, and Ministry of the Coffee Bean boasts the results of learning.
