Since opening Brisbane’s first Mexican restaurant in Milton in 1972, Pepe’s Newmarket on Enogerra Road has seen locals embrace the flavours of Mexican cuisine. Inside Pepe’s Newmarket, vibrantly painted walls in shades of yellow, blue, red and green are covered in Mexican paraphernalia, creating a lively dining atmosphere. All of the favourites are well represented including nachos, burrito, enchilada, chimichanga and fajitas. Visitors can’t go without trying the famed Chilli con Carne, a casserole of whole beans, ground beef, onions, tomato, spices and mild chilli.
