The Queensland Maritime Museum is an ode to the navigation of the ocean and its illustrious history. Within the grounds you’ll find a collection of items of navigation, lighthouses, ship models, marine engines and vessels, as well as boat display sheds, pump stations and a dry dock, all sitting alongside the Brisbane River. The historic den’s exhibition includes a number of notable hulls in its curation, including the HMAS Diamantina and Jessica Watson’s record-breaking yacht, Ella’s Pink Lady. With the pocket-change admission fee, you can explore all of these collections, which have been slowly curated since the museum was founded in 1971.
