Shambhala Espresso takes its name from the Sanskrit term meaning a place of peace, tranquility and happiness. It is a mythical paradise kingdom spoken of in many ancient texts, a place where one can find true bliss. This was what siblings Chrystalla and Harry Andreou wanted to create with their Wooloowin cafe – especially if your idea of bliss is all-day breakfast and coffee. Chrystalla brings years of hospitality experience into Shambhala and her passion for delicious food and drink exudes from her. Many of the sweet treats in the front counter she bakes herself, and the all-day menu showcases seasonal local produce. Shambhala’s menu will change with the seasons, and you can expect to find rotating specials on weekends.
