The Sunshine Coast suds scene is set to score another froth flinger next month, with celebrated Brisbane beer maker Slipstream Brewing Co. gearing up to open a new venue in Birtinya in September. Slipstream Brewing Social House is a 300-person venue that is shaping up to be a cracking local haunt for the community to enjoy, boasting a bar, fully equipped open kitchen and versatile function space. Brisbane-based designer Jumble & Stack is spearheading the interior aesthetic, which will meld industrial elements with timber joinery, vibrant furniture and lush green aspects. As for the offering, Slipstream Brewing Social House will serve a menu of seasonal, Californian-inspired dishes alongside Slipsteam’s popular selection of beers, all of which will be brewed at its Yeerongpilly brewery. There will also be a curated selection of Australian-made vino and spirits available for the non-beer drinkers.
