When it comes to taking the edge off a hot day (or simply quenching a thirst), there are few things that can top an ice-cold juice, especially one loaded with fresh fruit. Wellington Point locals scored a top-notch juicery of their own in July 2019 when Sula Juice Bar opened the doors to its colourful locale. Sula Juice Bar is the brainchild of Kaila Messenger, a foodie with a proclivity for wholesome hospitality. Kaila has conjured up a concept that is one part juice and smoothie joint, one part vegan treat dispensary and one part salad and acai outlet. Famished and thirsty locals can pop in and select from a menu of seven juices (plus one build-your-own option), with tantalising options including the Ruby Red with watermelon, apple and mint, the cleansing Detox with orange, carrot, turmeric, and ginger, and the Greenfields, which is loaded with spinach, apple and cucumber. Smoothies are also available in abundance, with the Sula Signature (jam-packed with banana, pranaon vegan protein powder, cinnamon, maca powder, activated almond milk and topped with The Unrefined’s nutriboost granola) standing out as a must-try. If you’re craving a nourishing bowl to fill your stomach, Sula’s got you covered there too – five seasonal bowls are available, filled with fresh fruit, acai and granola. Rounding out the foodie offering is a selection of freshly made salads, wraps, sandwiches and treats that rotate on a weekly basis, Finally, those in need of a pep can also sip on a barista-made coffee (with a full range of mylks to choose from), so all your daily refuelling needs are catered for!
