When we think of Rocklea, we typically think of farmers markets. Though a visit to the Rocklea Markets is a staple of our weekend itinerary, there’s much more to the suburb than you think. Sundays Cafe is the latest venture from the hospitality heroes at The Venzin Group (Pawpaw, Piggy Back, Pawpaw Asian Kitchen) – a quick-service venue for those on the move. Sundays Cafe specialises in coffee, colourful beetroot, matcha or turmeric lattes smoothies and nutritious bowls, as well as some signature dishes for fans of Pawpaw’s style (we’re loving the sound of the croissant benedicts with turmeric hollandaise, Nutella French Toast and potato hash cakes). In addition to the menu items, patrons that swing by can expect a big cabinet full to bursting point with healthy and meaty sandwiches and a host of vegan and gluten-free bites.
