Table 26 is a West End cafe owned and operated by Amit Maharaj. The hospitality veteran decided to open the cafe as tribute to his late father, who Amit owned and operated West End Park Cafe with since 2003. The eatery is a chic and welcome space that offers great coffee and food across breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Favourites of Amit’s father feature, with Pop’s Paratha (grilled flat bread filled with spicy scrambled eggs) sharing menu space with the likes of banana French toast, eggs benedict sliders, sandcrab omelettes and vege fritters on the breakfast menu. The lunch and dinner menu features a selection of foot-long rectangle pizzas, a deconstructed burrito plank where you can construct your own mouthfuls, wagyu ragu, and Nutella pizza and hazelnut affogatto for dessert. As far as drinks are concerned, Table 26 has the goods – vegan shakes, organic tea from The Botanica Tea Co. (Table 26 is the fist retail location to stock it), tap beers and wines are available.
