Tannins Brew is a charming bar and eatery housed inside a spacious light-industrial site in the heart of Brendale. Housing its own nanobrewery, Tannins Brew produces beers using a Nano X two-vessel system with two 160-litre fermenters, crafting beverages that are experimental and playful. The bar’s six taps pour an assortment of brews, ranging from accessible lagers and pale ales to more inventive sips like smoked pineapple pale ales and vanilla plum sours. With an artisanal licence at their disposal, Tannins Brew also slings Queensland-made booze like Milton Distillery rum, Wildflower Gin and vino from Witches Falls Winery. During the day Tannins Brew also serves coffee from Cavalier Coffee Roasters and brisket-and-cheese toasties.
