Set on Fortitude Valley’s Warner Street, music venue The Brightside is giving live music fans a new locale to experience the sounds of local, national and international bands. The multi-purpose venue was formerly occupied by Electric Playground and The Healer, and now hosts a regular line-up of alternative acts, including an assortment of Brisbane’s best emerging and established artists. Gig-goers can watch a handful of bands play from early in the evening, quench their thirst in the spacious beer garden out the front and linger late as DJs fill the venue with a mix of much-loved tunes. An internal and external bar are sure to keep the crowd’s thirsts quenched. 2015 has seen the venue introduce Lucky Egg to the premises, a kitchen serving up fried chicken burgers, wings and many more treats. Grab burger a side of paprika-salted chips or mozzarella sticks, sip on a cold one and enjoy some live music at The Brightside.
