Located in the hear of Brisbane’s CBD, The Hideout is a chic and minimalist coffee nook that serves up some phenomenal specialty coffee. The Hideout features a multi-roaster offering, including renowned outfits such as Sensory Lab, Proud Mary and Five Senses. The Hideout’s house blend is Sensory Lab’s Steadfast espresso blend – which is the go-to for any milk-based brew – while the fruit-forward Tightrope blend by Five Senses is The Hideout’s currently choice for black coffee. If you’re a fan filter coffee (pour over, batch brew or cold brew), The Hideout has sourced a natural single origin that is markedly different from common washed coffee. The rest of the drinks selection includes specialty tea from Larsen and Thompson, hot chocolate, chai lattes, HRVST ST. juices and bottled kombucha. Although The Hideout isn’t equipped with a full kitchen, the nook is stocked with fresh pastries, muesli pots from BRKFST, smashed avocado on toast, breakfast toasties and croque monsieurs, as well as a lunchtime offering of The Whole Box salads and reuben sandwiches.
