Fancy a Lebanese-spiced cheesecake? How about a Turkish delight or matcha and lime milkshake? This deliciousness can be yours if you head to The Pine Kitchen near the Brisbane Showgrounds. The eatery comes from Steve Darwich, who has drawn upon on his Lebanese heritage and Australian upbringing to create the cafe, melding modern classics with Lebanese flavours. The Pine Kitchen is definitely not be your standard Lebanese cafe – the lunch and dinner menus feature the likes of sandwiches and burgers with Lebanese flavours, alongside traditional delicacies such as meze platters, fattoush and kebabs. The cafe serves, exclusively for Brisbane, award-winning Frankie’s Beans coffee from Sydney, as well as creative milkshakes and other fun drinks.
