North Lakes residents welcomed Told You So Coffee with open arms when it hit the scene in May 2016. Focusing on good coffee and personable customer service, the java nook took hold and has become a go to for anyone that is serious about their coffee. Told You So has selected Single Origin Roasters for its coffee, using the Paradox Blend as its house selection, while rotating single origins for its black coffee. Patrons can choose from hot or cold selections – white, black and filter options are available as is a unique soda coffee option. Non-coffee drinkers can enjoy Prana chai, hot chocolate from Mork, teas and cold-press juices from HRVST St as well as a house-made soda that changes weekly. Patrons that are after a snack can enjoy a slice of pie from Firefly Pie Co, with flavours such as lemon meringue, chocolate marshmallow, raspberry honeycomb and Oreo banana cream filling the cabinet.
