Whether you’re a scrawler or a drawer, unite with other likeminded papier enthusiasts at the Zine & Indie Comic Symposium (ZICS) this weekend. A three-day celebration of the zine and comic mediums, ZICS will run from Friday August 29 to Sunday August 31 at The Edge at SLQ. The team from local weekly webcomic LUV Comics will be hosting a Pecha Kucha-style presentation on opening night and presenting on a panel about gender and sexuality, while DIY screenprinting workshops and a large-scale painting battle will also entertain.
