Hawthorne’s Microlot Coffee House specialises in serving up boutique coffee to locals and seekers of the finest java in town. The beans served at Microlot are sourced from Colombia and from other small growers from around the world, and are roasted in Brisbane. Cold-press, filter and drip coffees are available to sip inside or take away. At the end of February, Microlot Coffee House will also serve a cool, clean menu of wholesome dishes including white bean and snow pea tendril salad with black sesame crusted egg, sticky plum pork, gruyere cheese and fried eggs on brioche and sourdough pancakes with charred peach cheeks and vanilla bean labneh. Pastries, banana bread and raspberry blondies are already available.Microlot’s roasted beans are also available for retail purchase.
