Noosa-born institution Betty’s Burgers has made its way to Haven Newstead, bringing its signature burgers, decadent concretes and moreish sides. The retro burger shack serves up six mouth-watering burgers, with everything from the Betty’s Classic with Angus beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and Betty’s special sauce (you can make it a Betty’s Classic Stack with the addition of crisp fried mushrooms filled with melted gouda and gruyere cheese) to crispy chicken and pork belly burgers. There’s also a couple of cheeky off-menu burgs if you want to mix it up a little – ask for the Double Double or Spicy Chicken. French fries and onion rings can accompany your meal, but make sure you leave room for Betty’s concretes – that’s chocolate or vanilla custard ice-cream (yes custard ice-cream), with toppings such as peanut butter brittle, passionfruit ginger crumble, and hot fudge doughnut. Oof.
