Jazz for Paws II – RSPCA Qld Charity Afternoon
Join us for some afternoon jazz to raise funds for RSPCA Queensland. Bring along your picnic blanket and/or camping chairs for a relaxed Saturday session. Hosted by Akane’s RSPCA fundraising adventure – all proceeds from the event will go to RSPCA Queensland.
RSPCA Queensland requires over $48 million annually to support animal centres, programs and services which look after domestic pets, farm animals and native species that call Australia home.

One of the new breed of incredible Brisbane Jazz Singers, Jess Spina developed a passion for jazz from a very young age. Jess has studied with leading musicians Ingrid James, Kristin Berardi, Dave Spicer and Dr Irene Bartlett and for her appearance at Jazz for Paws II, she has assembled a star studded line up of leading Brisbane Jazz musicians. Now in her final year at the Queensland Conservatorium, Jess is involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from Big Bands to Brazilian ensembles, soul/RnB groups to small group Jazz. Through her music she continually strives to connect with her audiences, making them feel at home and giving them a concert experience to remember. Her relaxed and genuine performance style has endeared her to audiences all across QLD.
